Lisa was born in Oregon, raised in Maryland, and currently resides in Florida with her OTTB Bull and mustang Hiawassee. Lisa has been riding and competing in eventing since she was 10 and has introduced many young horses to the sport. By day, Lisa is a Wildlife Biologist, airboating through Florida’s marshes in search of mink, rappelling into caves to survey for bats, and traipsing around in the woods with Cowboy the weasel detection dog. With such a mundane day job, Lisa joined the Mongol Derby in search of more challenge and adventure as well as the chance to explore a wild country with an amazing history, culture, and wildlife!
